Baked Tater Tot Casserole with Corn and Beef

Our Tater Tot Casserole is a surefire hit, combining crispy tater tots with a savory, cheesy filling that’s incredibly easy to prepare. In just a few simple steps, you’ll have a hearty meal that kids of all ages will love. This dish is quick to make and packed with flavors that will have everyone asking for seconds. Perfect for those busy summer days when you want something fast, filling, and family-friendly!

Ingredients for Tater Tot Casserole:

  • 1 lb TBS ground beef (90%)
  • 1 32-ounce package of frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 10-ounce can of condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 10-ounce can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 15-ounce can of sweet corn, drained
  • 1 14.5-ounce can of green beans, drained

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  2. Grease a large baking dish.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, saute the onions until they begin to turn translucent. Add the ground beef and brown it. While the ground beef is cooking, add the garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Drain excess grease if needed.
  5. Mix the beef mixture with the sour cream, soups, corn, green beans, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
  6. Spread the mixture into the greased baking dish.
  7. Top with a layer of tater tots.
  8. Bake for 50 minutes until the tater tots are brown and the casserole bubbles.
  9. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and bake for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
  10. Remove the tater tot casserole from the oven and allow it to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
